Everyone has their own form of expressing themselves, through music, fashion, art, etc. Each form of expression shares a little bit of ourselves, our Meraki, of who we are, the challenges we have overcome, what drives us, and where we’re headed. Our expression and self-contribution could empower others in unknown ways and can leave an impression for years to come.

One of my personal challenges was when I moved from Dubai to America when I was 7. The culture was so different. I couldn’t effectively verbalize how I felt back then, but painting gave me sense of relief and connection. I was finally able to let my thoughts and feelings be free. Since then, my view on art has evolved. It gave me my voice, my enthusiasm, and my expression.

What we create and what we display on our walls are both forms of expressing who we are. It is my goal to discover as much artwork around the world, to connect with and understand others, their culture and life stories.

Art spreads inspiration, creativity and emotion. You can never truly understand what the artists’ depiction is, but the interpretation holds the greatest meaning. That was my main inspiration to create this platform. For artists to be able to share a piece of themselves and be able to connect with people around the globe who might resonate with pieces in their own way.
